Greg Schwem

Greg Schwem Greg Schwem, a former newspaper and TV news reporter, aims his powers of observation at the absurdities and irritations of everyday life, including attempts to use a computer in a presentation called "Comedy with a Byte."

His wholesome boy-next-door looks disarm audiences. Then, he proceeds to use his "clean" but dagger-sharp wit to attack their funny bone.

Greg Schwem presents . . .

Are you looking to chuckle at the crazy, high-tech world we live in today? Look no further than Greg. Laugh along with him as he jokes about computers, technical support lines, voicemail, pocket-sized PC's and how acronyms are taking over the English language! He is perfect for your next awards banquet, sales meeting or other special event.

Greg Schwem with Jay Leno Whether it's a sales meeting, an awards dinner or simply an event that needs a little humor, Greg Schwem is your comedian and your writer. As a stand-up comedian Greg has entertained audiences from New York to Los Angeles with clean, amusing stories ranging from the trials of owning a home computer to his first trip aboard a riverboat casino, to his experiences as a former NBC television reporter. Greg's material about technology and the information age caught the attention of the Chicago Tribune which wrote, "Schwem performs the material the way any good stand-up should: making it simple." (March 15, 1996)

As a writer, Greg is co-author of the humor book, "Till What Do We Part? A Wedding Planner for the Etiquette Impaired." Greg also has scripted and performed comedy material for dozens of Fortune 500 companies for use in trade shows, sales meetings and industrial films.

Greg's television credits include: "Caroline’s Comedy Hour," VH-1's "Stand-up Spotlight," A&E's "An Evening at the Improv" and "Comedy Central."

He has opened for Celine Dion, the Righteous Brothers, Lee Greenwood and others.

During his act, Greg reminds audiences that he's not getting any younger. "I finally hurt my back. I play tennis, I golf and I ski. I pulled a muscle taking clothes out of the dryer. The doctor laughed at me. He gave me a painkiller and told me not to do laundry for 30 days."
