Shawn Wayans made his acting debut in 1988 in "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" a feature film by his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans.
Immediately following his feature film debut, Shawn joined the cast of the Emmy Award winning comedy series "In Living Color," the show which launched the careers of his brothers Keenen and Damon, as well as that of Jim Carey.
Shawn has since gone on to co-write, co-executive produce and co-star with his brother Marlon in the hit comedy "Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood." The movie is a comic spoof of the coming-of-age in the hood movies. He co-starred with Marlon Wayans in "The Wayans Bros.," which had multiple seasons for the WB Television Network.
In addition to his roles in film and television, Shawn can now add author to his list of accomplishments. DTP, a division of Dell Brooks, released "150 Ways To Tell If You're Ghetto," a comical off-beat collection of one-liners. The book recently hit the Waldenbooks' Best Seller List.
