Who is Ed Hart and what's
so funny?
He was the winner of Showtime's "Funniest Person in America!"
With seven appearances on Showtime's Comedy Club Network, he is also one of the network's
most requested.
Ed has appeared on VH-1, The Comedy Channel and M-TV, plus his concert
performances include appearances with Jimmy Buffett,
Crosby, Stills & Nash, and
ZZ Top.
He knows how to please a crowd. With original material
drawn from personal experiences, fast guitar work and knockout impressions, his act is
full of surprises that will delight all.
He is a regular in Nevada at the Tropicana, where the Las Vegas
Review Journal reported, "Facing a crowd that could have doubled as zombies,
Ed Hart won them over with solid jokes, quick musical gags and endorphin
jolting impressions."
The Reno Gazette says, "Ed Hart
is non-stop entertainment that's sure to please, and never offend audiences."
Bob Fisher, owner of the prestigious Ice House, in Pasadena, California,
has referred to Ed as, "One of the most professional comedians in the business."
Ed has performed comedy since he can remember. In grammar school
his teacher had to put a large cardboard box around his desk to prevent him from making
the other kids laugh.
Today, Ed's comedy career takes him all over the country, headlining
clubs from Hawaii and L.A. to Atlantic City. A favorite at military bases, he has
performed in Pearl Harbor, Guam and Korea for our armed services. Between engagements he
enjoys performing for various benefits to raise funds or entertain in local hospitals to
raise spirits.
As a stand-up comedian, Ed is credited with causing a pregnant woman in
his audience to go into labor from laughing so hard. However, most audiences survive with
minor sore jaws from the non-stop laughing.
