With more than twenty years of professional
experience to his credit, Tom Wilson is a creative artist
blending almost every imaginable discipline into a unique and very
individual declaration of a life in the arts.
Born
and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he has enjoyed a successful
career as an actor, writer and comedian. Tom has more than fifty
films, television shows and comedy specials to his credit. He has
appeared on many national talk shows, including Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, David
Letterman, and Regis and Kathie Lee.
He starred as "Biff" in the now classic "Back To The
Future" film trilogy, and was seen in the family films "That
Darn Cat," "Born To Be Wild" and "Camp
Nowhere," as well as the Emmy award winning film about the civil
war, "Andersonville." He has been seen in the television
series "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch," "Nash
Bridges," "Do Over" and on the critically acclaimed
"Freaks and Geeks."
As a voiceover actor, Tom Wilson has been in
dozens of animated series, including many episodes of Nickelodeon's
"SpongeBob Squarepants." He continues to act in movies and
television, and he performs comedy and music at theatres across
America.
As a comedian, he has been a regular performer at
the world famous "Improv" and "Comedy Store" since
the day he arrived in Hollywood. His self-written one man show,
"Cowboy Tommy," boasted a series of sold out engagements.
Bringing his enthusiasm and charisma to the stage, Tom
Wilson has always kept his stand-up comedy clean. His humor is
suitable for any audience. With four children, his family humor hits
home with many, while stories from his diverse acting career bring
laughter to all. He uses his musical talents to get the audience
involved and brings the house down with his song parodies as well as
performing original songs.
As a writer, Tom Wilson has written for
several prestigious literary magazines, as well as for Universal
Studios, Disney, Fox and Film Roman studios. As a producer, he
produced a groundbreaking series of debates for Canadian television
called "The Seven Deadly Sins," which examined cultural
values and the role of the arts within them.
Actor, comedian, writer, musician, and painter, Tom
Wilson has transcended the limitations of pop-cultural celebrity
to become an artist of honesty, gravity and grace.
And audiences love him!
