"The Man of 1001 Voices"
The endless talents of Bill Acosta have now been packaged in "Lasting Impressions," a Las Vegas style musical revue.

The "Las Vegas Visitor" compares his vocal phrasing to that of
Sinatra's. His kaleidoscope of talent combines the gambit of vocal styles, celebrity
impressions and comedy to awe audiences of all ages. He brings to life nearly 50 celebrity
voices in each one of his presentations. The most impressive voice displayed however, will
be the crystal clear, powerful tones of Bill Acosta himself.
Professional reviews of his performances include quotes like "A Triumphantly Stylish Revue," "Acosta is a master singing impressionist!" and "An impressionist to top all impressionists!"
Bill Acosta's "Lasting Impressions" is a mix of high energy humor and classic song medleys by "guests" as diverse as Nat King Cole, Jerry Lewis, Neil Diamond, Julio Iglesias, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin and Sean Connery. A highlight of the show is Acosta's dead-ringer rendition of President Bill Clinton reminiscing over the "Twelve Days of Christmas" gifts he received from his celebrity friends from Andy Williams offering a partridge in a pear tree to twelve people terminated by Arnold. Reviewers have said, "You have to see this for yourself," to believe it.
"Over the years, I have developed a technique I call 'vocal chasing,'" said Acosta, to explain how he shifts gears so rapidly. "It's the way I have trained my vocal chords to move from one voice, pitch and tone rapidly into another. The Twelve Days of Christmas is the most challenging piece I do in the show, because I repeat each character numerous times. By the end of this 15 minute song I have changed voices 90 times using the vocal chasing technique."
When it come to pure entertainment, Acosta's singing voice has a true chameleon quality, enabling him to replicate the golden tones of such greats as Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and Tony Bennett. Simply close your eyes and you'll be transported to the world's most exclusive fantasy concert. But even in its natural state, Acosta's voice has a tone and resonance that stands among the best.
Raised in New Orleans and influenced by the great jazz masters like Pete Fountain, he moved to Chicago, where he made a name as the headlining act for the Playboy Clubs and where he perfected his cache of personalities.
This international performer is in his fourth decade of show business. His credits include television and radio, voice-overs, corporate events, theatres, showrooms, concerts, festivals and cruise lines world-wide.
Whether sharing the stage with Lou Rawls, Patti LaBelle, Rodney Dangerfield or Joan Rivers, Bill's versatility ensures a show to provide many "Lasting Impressions."

What Others Say About ...
Bill Acosta
Trump Plaza:
Hotel and Casino
".....a production with all the ingredients to be a hit. The proof of the show's success was clear enough with how well it was received by our patrons."
Gregory J. Kuhlen, Director of Entertainment
At The Shore, The Press of Atlantic City:
"Revue Reviews"
"With every bit he hit his mark and the crowd seemed genuinely impressed with his attention to subtle details and his uncanny ability to mimic the singing voices of so many stars in such rapid succession. One interesting trick he does is something he calls voice "chasing," in which he sings both sides of a duet.
Not only are his impersonations flawless, but his choice of partners, such as Dean Martin and Willie Nelson doing "That Sometime Is Now" (yes, Jerry Lewis does pop in) continued to get the desired reaction from the crowd.
By sliding in and out of one famous voice after another, Acosta brings the audience on an emotional roller-coaster, and they loved every minute of it."
Richard Mancino, Jr.
Casino and Show Review:
"The show appearing at the Trump Plaza is called "Lasting Impressions". It is aptly titled because it will be the show you will be talking about to all of your friends. This is the show to see.
It's as if you are seeing fifty of your all-time favorite stars. Mr. Acosta uses three elements to ensure his impressions are perfection. They are the vocal, visual and the personality of the individual he is recreating. When he combines all of those elements to do "The Twelve Days of Christmas," you can say he is the master of his art. You have to see this for yourself."

Suburban Newspapers:

"'Fantastic,' 'unbelievable' and 'Wow!' were among the comments I heard from an enthusiastic audience who watched this amazing performer during the 75-minute revue at the Trump Plaza Theater."
Kermit "Kappy" Kapner
Moraine Valley Community College Foundation:
Palos Hill, Illinois
"Everyone who came to the Foundation's major fund-raising event raved about the show Bill Acosta gave them. They all said of the three years we have been hosting this event, he was by far the best entertainment ever. His ability to "be" 1001 other performers is impressive, but I think when he sings as Bill Acosta, he really is the best."
Melanie Jones, Executive Director
Northrop Grumman:
"I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the EXCELLENT performance you did for the Northrop Grumman Management Club dinner dance. Without hesitation, your performance exceeded my expectations.
Your "one-time" show, under difficult circumstances with very limited dress rehearsal time, was EXCEPTIONAL! I have had many people come up to me to express their satisfaction of the event and your entertainment in particular (even three months later).
I would recommend your services for an event of this type to anyone without hesitation. Your performance, with no "off color" or "ethnic" overtones is highly prized and unique in today's environment. Again, thank you for a SUPERB entertainment experience."
Robert E Wulf, Chairman
City of Highland Park:

"When it comes to Bill Acosta, "The Man of 1001 Voices," what more can I say than what was reflected by the positive response of our audience. All his impressions were terrific, the "Twelve Days of Christmas" number was unique and his incredible Sinatra finale resulted in a well-deserved ovation."
