Joni Morris offers two shows, "A Portrait of Patsy" and "Connie Francis and Friends," featuring her four-piece band, "After Midnight."

Joni Morris, Vocalist - booking information These spectacular 90 Minute stage productions appeal to audiences of all ages and have received rave reviews from coast to coast. Audiences love her tributes as well as her own original music.

Joni's performance is a solid one, saturated with authentic sound, personality and true showmanship. The audience is transported back to the Golden Years of the late 50's and early 60's when the glamour girl of country captivated fans with soul-stirring voice and flamboyant personality. They enjoy songs like "Crazy," "Sweet Dreams," "I Fall to Pieces," "My Happiness" and "Where The Boys Are."

She sings each song brilliantly, adding dazzling costumes and comedy when appropriate. However, nothing shines so bright as her ability to connect with her audience. She works the crowd better than a Las Vegas crooner. Her audience interaction wins her fans wherever she performs.

Joni says, "Patsy Cline recorded some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life. I never get tired of singing them."

In 1998 Joni released her fourth album, "Heartsongs," which includes her hit song, "It's Hold Me Time." Dinner theatres, conventions, casinos, fund raisers and private parties are loving the Joni Morris shows everywhere. She puts all the energy she has into her performances and in return audiences give it back with thunderous applause. Rave reviews and standing ovations are the norm.

About Patsy Cline
Born Virginia Hensley in 1932, Patsy got her big break in 1957 when she sang "Walkin' After Midnight" on the Arthur Godfrey Talent Scouts television show. Throughout her brief but successful career, she paved the way for the women in country music. Her smooth vocal style and strong, yet vulnerable, delivery became a model for other singers. She died in a plane crash in March of 1963, leaving behind a legacy of music that is still loved by millions.

"Connie Francis and Friends"

Joni Morris belts out the tunes of Connie Francis, Peggy Lee, Brenda Lee and Skitter Davis. She can sashay on stage decked in a pink and silver poodle skirt to give the audience a taste of the music for which Francis is known. The poodle skirt soon makes way for a blue prom dress and tiara for "Everybody's Somebody's Fool."

A flurry of other equally glittery dresses follow with "Who's Sorry Now," "Where the Boys Are" and "This Magic Moment." Joni takes time between songs to acquaint the audience with Francis by telling a little about her life, music and loves.
