"My Daughter Carolyn was almost killed in an automobile accident on her 19th birthday August 26th. I want to let Sammy know that his song "One Day Left to Live" has touched our family's life in such a special way.

She was on her way to work in the morning, when some guy pulled out into the oncoming traffic and stalled out. Carolyn hit him going 35mph. Thank God for airbags. The police officer told me without the airbags in her car she would most certainly have been killed.

Carolyn put Sammy's song "One Day Left to Live" on in our van, coming home after the accident. We both broke down in tears. We cried like babies. I almost lost my first born baby girl. Needless to say this song has had a tremendous impact on how Carolyn views what happened to her. I just want to thank Sammy from the bottom of our hearts. This song has touched our lives in a way we will never forget."
