Gary Owen, the VENTertainer, has been delighting audiences for more than 20 years. He has won international acclaim as one of the country's most talented ventriloquists.

Born and raised in Hollywood, California, Gary was influenced in the art of ventriloquism early in life. His interest developed while watching Paul Winchell, Señor Winces and Jimmy Nelson (pitchman for Nestle's Quik). He actually learned his art from Jimmy Nelson, who is now a personal friend.

Gary Owen has been featured on "Good Morning America" and in Time Magazine. He has performed with top celebrities including Roy Clark, Reba McEntire, Minnie Pearl, Three Dog Night, Ray Price, The Lettermen, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and The Glenn Miller Orchestra, to name a few.

He performs regularly on NCL, Celebrity and Holland America Cruise Lines. His performances for corporate and international organizations have included the Government Office of Israeli Tourism, Delta Faucet, Goodyear and Golf USA.

He loves to involve members of the audience. One of the funniest highlights of his show involves using up to eight members of the audience in his infamous "Human Dummy" routines. Dressing these unsuspecting volunteers with hats, glasses and false fronts, Gary instructs them to open their mouth when he squeezes their shoulder. The result is absolutely hilarious!

Gary Owen shares roundtable duties with Jimmy Nelson, Ronn Lucas, Jeff Dunham and other popular vents, on the Board of Advisors for Vent Haven Museum, the world's only ventriloquist museum, located in Kentucky.

Gary's VENTertainment includes everything from audience participation in routines like the Baby Cry and Human Dummy, to outrageous characters like Elmer The Drunk, Buford T. Possum and the infamous singin' sensation Rhapsody Cowboy.
