Band of Horses, known early in its life simply as Horses, is an Indie rock band formed in Seattle, Washington.

Their discography includes six studio albums, one live album, two extended plays (EPs), and 14 singles.

It is led by singer-songwriter Ben Bridwell, who has served as the band's sole constant member throughout numerous line-up changes.

In 2010, Band of Horses opened for Pearl Jam on their tour of the Midwest and East Coast and for Snow Patrol at their concerts in Bangor and Glasgow in June. On October 7, 2010, they released a cover of CeeLo Green's "Georgia" via their official website.

In 2011, the group returned to Europe for a tour in January and February, which included a show with Foo Fighters at Wembley Arena on February 25.
