Even at a young age, music was always about passion to Keith. As a youngster, growing up in New York City, he looked forward to the great concerts at the Apollo Theatre. Artists like Joe Ligon, Marvin Winans, John P. Kee, James Cleveland, Harvey Watkins, the Swanee Quintet and others played a key role in the development of Keith Johnson as an artist.

He is backed by The Spiritual Voices, whose members are Hezekiah Bethea, Dewan Wright, Ray Braswell Jr., and Tyrone Jackson. Keith Johnson is determined to make a global impact for Christ. While Keith is happy with the work he has done in the past, he is striving to chart new waters. "I want to do everything I possibly can to help move forward the work of Christ."

Known for incorporating top production skills, natural talent and high energy, Keith Johnson never compromises the message or the heritage of Quartet music.
