Neon Trees is an American rock band from Provo, Utah. In 2008, the band received nationwide exposure when they opened for the band The Killers. Their first single, "Animal", climbed to No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart.

In 2010, the band covered Justin Bieber's song, "Baby", as well as Ben E. King's, "Stand By Me". Throughout early 2010, the band opened for the Thirty Seconds to Mars on their Into the Wild tour.

In mid-2010, they headlined the Bang the Gong Tour along with others bands, including Paper Tongues, MeTalkPretty, and Civil Twilight. Also in 2010, they performed at Lollapalooza along with others, including Lady Gaga, Social Distortion, Green Day, Drive-By Truckers, The xx, Mumford & Sons, The National, Erykah Badu, Cypress Hill, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero.

In 2011, the single, "Everybody Talks", peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the band their first top ten hit on the chart. From March 31, 2011, to April 23, 2011, Neon Trees opened for My Chemical Romance during the North American leg of their World Contamination Tour. In September 2011, they opened a show for Panic! at the Disco in Central Park. In September and October 2011, they opened for Duran Duran on the North American leg of the All You Need Is Now tour.

In early fall 2012, the band toured with The Offspring and Dead Sara. In 2013, they joined Maroon 5 on their world tour alongside Owl City. In November/December 2013, they were a support act for Taylor Swift.

In 2015, the group announced the An Intimate Night With Neon Trees Tour. The tour ran from June 6, 2015, to July 26, 2015, finishing in Boston, Massachusetts, at the House Of Blues Boston. Opening acts included Alex Winston, Coin, and Fictionist.

On July 24, 2020, the album, I Can Feel You Forgetting Me, was released. In December 2021, they released a new single and video, "Holiday Rock".

Their discography includes four studio albums, three extended plays, eighteen singles and fifteen music videos.
